北京天坛医院

北京天坛医院始建于1956年8月23日，是一所以神经外科为重点的大型综合医院。北京市神经外科研究所、北京市医学影像中心和全国脑血管病防治研究办公室同设院内。是世界三大神经外科研究中心之一、亚洲最多的神经外科临床、科研、教学基地和WHO在中国的神经科学培训合作中心。

医院现有职工2036人，其中医务人员1700人，高级职称240人。科室齐全，设神经外科、神经内科、神经放射科、内科、外科、妇产科、儿科等33个科室，是集医、教、研、防为一体的现代化综合医院，编制病床800张。神经外科病床300张，拥有王忠诚、赵雅度、罗世祺、赵继宗等一批著名的神经外科专家，年手术4000余例。在王忠诚院士的带领下，率先解决了多项神经外科世界难题：脑干手术、脊髓内巨大肿瘤切除术、颅内巨大动脉瘤切除术和脑血管畸形手术，质量和数量均据国际领先水平。开展了伽玛刀治疗、导航手术、脑室纤维内窥镜手术、立体定向及深部微电极刺激治疗癫痫手术等达国际水平。现有博士后流动站一个，博士点六个，硕士点十二个，在读研究生近百人。为全国培训神经外科医生达3000余人，占全国神经外科医生总数的一半。入选百千万工程10人、北京市科技新星14人。王忠诚、赵继宗分别为中华神经外科学会正、副主任委员，戴建平为中华放射学会主任委员。1978年以来荣获国际、国内科研奖励275项，发表论文3770篇，国际交流论文293篇，与国外建立了科研合作项目。目前担任国家“九.五”攻关课题11项，国家自然科学基金课题5项，国家“863”计划课题1项，国家“937”课题2项。1979年起承担首都医科大学医学五系、口腔系等临床教学任务。

Introduction of Beijing Tiantan Hospital

Founded in August 23,1956, Beijing Tiantan Hospital emerged as one of the country's top hospital,and functioned as the neurosurgical center in China. Now it becomes one of the third largest neurosurgical centers all over the world. Some offical organizations , such as Beijing Neurosurgical Institute, Beijing Medical Imaging Center and National Cerebrovascular Diseases Prevention and Therapy Research Office were also affiliated in our hospital. In 1982 our hopital was named as "WHO Researchand Training Center of Neurosurgery" by WHO,and then named as "National Training Basement of Neurosurgery" by Ministry of Health.There is a total of 2036 employees in our hopital , which includes 1700 medical staff and 240 senior faculty. In our hospital there has 800 beds belongs to 33 clinical departments, such as department of neurosurgery,neurology, neuroradiology,interal medicine,surgery,pediatric, etc.As a modern comprehensive hospital, our works have widely involved the clinical , education ,research and prevention aspects ,especially in neurological diseases. The neurosurgical department has 300 beds and some world famous specialists such as Wang Zhongcheng,ZhaoYadu,Luo Shiqi and Zhao Jizong.More than 4,000 cases of surgery were performed annually with a world class leading standard,especially the surgery for brainstem and intramedullary tumors, giant brain aneurysms and AVMs .Recently a series of new techniques , such as gamma knife , neuronavigation ,neuro-endoscopy and deep brain stimulation have been introduced to our hospital.As a teaching hospital affiliated to Capital University of Medical Sciences . Beijing Tiantan Hospital have a strong background of medical education , We have responsible for the medical education for the 5th College of Medicine and Department of Stomatology. Hundreds of graduates have been trained here and got their master or doctoral degree. More than 3,000 neurosurgeons,which is about half of the total nember of neurosurgeons in China , had participated in neurosurgical continued education courses in Beijing Tiantan Hospital.Many old and young scientists have got national foundation to do basic and clinical research in their academic field .Wang Zhongcheng and Zhao Jizong have bend elected the President and Vice-president of Chinese Neurosurgical Society,Dai Jianping have bean elected the President of Chinese Radiological Society. Since 1978,we have recived 275 academic award.3770 scientific papers have been published, including 293 papers published in the international academic magazines. Now we are responsible for 19 national key research programme.
